Rav … class act on and off the pitch

Just read there were 10 clubs after him last summer and when he decided on Boro he contacted each of the clubs to personally explain his decision.

Fair play for an 18/19 year old! 👏🏻

I bet the number of clubs keeping an eye on him is more than 10 now 😮
It was noticeable last night when getting his awards he kept emphasising how grateful he was to be playing games. That is obviously his priority. He has learned a lesson from his brother's Liverpool "career." That is why he will want to stay at Boro. To be able to play first team.

Never seen him have less than a 7/10 game. Couple of bad judgements at times but ironed out of his game immediately. Remarkable for a 19 year old.
Is his brother still at Liverpool ? Does he ever get near the 1st team ?

I think he's playing in Germany now

To be fair, his brother played a lot for Preston and now in Germany. He was unlikely to play for Liverpool's first team, and has still been getting experience. I haven't seen much of him, so don't really know whom is the better player. Looks like both will have good careers.

I hope his agent has plenty of other good young players signed that want the right first move

As a CB yes, had a couple of 6.5 at RB but it isn’t his role

Head screwed on right it seems.

He's been very good, but think he's said himself he's still learning and I think you can see that at times.

I suspect he'll be exceptional next season. Knows his team mates, settled in, season under his belt.

It's why it's so important to resist offers for Lath, if you have a goalscorer and a top class centre back (i.e. quality at both ends of the pitch) you've got a chance against anyone. That's where games are won and lost and neither of them would need time to "get up to speed".

Not sure popped up on my Microsoft homepage with various other news etc

It’s true though …. Honest mate! Honest!

He's decent but he's got a long way to go, still behind Fry & Lenihan when both fit.

Born leader.
Watch the goals we've conceded this season & his petulant reactions, throwing his arms & appearing to blame others for what was, on more than one occasion, his fault.

He could be a great player, he's only young etc but absolutely miles from being part of 1st choice CB pairing in a promotion team.

Couldn’t agree less.

He's definitely a class act. It's unbelievable how good he's been considering he's only 19. You don't see many that age starting as a CB in any league.

We should make the most of him. I genuinely think he's going to he a real star and play for some genuine 'big clubs'. I would love at least another season or two and watch him develop.

He seems genuinely happy. I doubt even he thought he'd get this much game time. He's learning everyday from a great coaching team. You'd think a young CB could learn a great deal from Woody.

Whoever scouted / identified him needs some massive praise👍
