Recommendations - Places to Take a Toddler During Lockdown

Don’t live in the area anymore but did take my littlun (same age) to Hardwick Park a couple of months ago and he loved it.

Round here, I can just take him to anything that resembles a wood and take some sandwiches and he loves just being outside and playing hide and seek! The trick is obviously keeping track of exactly where he’s hiding but pretending not to know....

Slightly further afield seaham town park, herrington country park and riverside park (chester le street) all have good play areas.

Roker park if you want a park right by the beach and south marine park in south shields is nice too ... EDIT Barnes Park too (Sunderland)

Can you tell i used to date a mackem with a little un??

Hartlepool headland is also a nice walk and has a play area and a slide near the museum. Ward Jackson Park also (dont know if the wild parrots are still there)
