Originally the Italian word for the phenomenon of supporting a sports team. Tifo is mostly used as a name for any choreography displayed by fans in the stands of an arena or stadium in connection with a sporting event, mostly as part of an association football match.

bout time the RF were given a membership card, £5 tickets and a home shirt for a tenner.
They have been absolutely fantastic for us. For those that remember the atmosphere at The Riverside was poor until these boys and girls sorted it.

Some connection to Wrexham and two actors splashing cash - buying a team and making a sweet series about it.
County were bought by a financial money launderer and convicted criminal 2009- who sent them backrupt in 9months, not paying players, leaving the club in debt [2010] with fans shaking buckets to get staff paid and volunteers to clean toilets, sweep the terraces and paint safety colours on steps.
No big glory or benefit to the club. In the end a chap called Ray Tew bought the club for a pound and stopped the club from hitting the wall.
No fairy story.
However, their relegation to the National League was the result of a local rogue who promised the earth, overpaid average old players and the club eventually hiy the wall again. The fans got out the buckets and brushes again. Two brothers, the Reddz Brothers bought the club, have put it on a strong financial footing and got them back into the EFL without splashing out on league players or overpaid journeymen.
They play at Meadow Lane to a packed house v Wrexham on Saturday
