We are not doing too bad after a horrendous early 'non' start. Here's where we were at the same stage over the last few seasons



We've played 5 of the 9 above us in table, 4 wins and 1 loss. However our record against the current bottom 8 is poor, 1 win from 6 played . If you'd offered me 2 pts off play offs after 9 more games -after the first 7 winless games I'd have said your'e not at liberty to offer such an eventuality ! So, let's have a nice rest , then come back and 'do' Brizzle Citeh

2022/23 - 8 points off 6th after 16 games, ended up 6 points above 7th.
2021/22 - 3 points off, ended 5 points off
2020/21 - 3 points off, ended 13 points off.
2019/20 - 13 points off, ended 17 points off.

So apart from last year we tail off as the season goes on (except we tailed off then as well).

I think that is going to come back & bite us this year, I bet the top 6 are on 14-18 pts from their games against them (assuming they've played 6 etc).
