Right then, where does the blame lie?

Its one thing for the fans to be annoyed at the current situation, we all have our opinions and probably there will be a mixture of different on and off the field problems that have contributed to basically having a write off of a season.

That said, in my opinion the boro hierarchy should be instigating a thorough review into the season so far starting with summer transfers (in and out), the shocking start to the season and basically why we are where we are because it is simply not good enough for this club, management team and squad.

We can look at areas on the pitch where we are short or not performing and learn from this big time so that come August we are extremely well prepared to get started properly this time. Its not just about the players that are on the pitch, its about why our recruitment has not addressed this.

I am pretty sick to be honest that we are basically writing a season off in mid Feb, but lets be honest, there is currently absolutely no chance we finish in the play off positions.

The transfer window has completely sidelined us. Losing a player who was a key contributor and had been developed well going within 6 months of being bought. That Rogers sale has messed with the teams momentum, the morale of the fans and ultimately performances on the pitch. Throw in at the same time the loss of McGree and Dieng and then Jones to injury and it’s been a perfect storm.

Stop with the wind ups man.

Even the last time we got promoted we spent 10m on a striker in January to do it. That I'm afraid is a big missing commitment.

We nearly got there with Archer last season. No such investment was made in a striker this time around and here we are.
I’m not on any wind up, on another night we win 0-4 tonight.

Injuries is a great excuse but without them we'd still be at best in contention for a playoff place with the other 8 chasers. Recruitment last summer was nowhere near good enough. Forget January recruitment, we were already too far away for anything to make a difference. It was probably better we didn't waste money in January on loans or panic buys if we have that money to spend in the summer instead.

We lost Archer and Akpom and replaced them with Latte Lath. That's it. How could they be naive/incompetent enough to think that could be enough.

Injuries havent helped. Policy of playing out at all times is a flaw. We dont have players to do it. So blame carrick for encouraging that.

What’s the point of calling him by his old username? Does that give you a bonus point in your own head or something
What does it matter? Everyone knows who they are. It is he who wants to play silly buggers. There are no points to be won here.

Let’s stick to the thread rather than derail it over childish stuff.

Selling Rogers and Crooks seemed very much like we’d thrown in the towel.

The way the club went about the season ticket renewals.. total asreholes.. failed to build on anything positive we had.. it was aggressive, cold and cynical.

and ANOTHER sign that we’ve written off this season..

It’s not the players or the manger.. it’s the club.

There doesn’t need to be any blame. We’re going through a rough patch. Last season was largely brilliant and this one has been very frustrating. It’s just football.
Ok maybe blame is a bit childish but there has to be some accountability. Yes, the world isn’t going to end as we are currently a very average championship team. But we fans and Gibson who puts the most he’s allowed to in to the club, are paying a lot of money for not much at the minute.

Something has gone wrong
