He had a great game at Norwich, just before the World Cup, and since then has been consistently good. After Chuba he is possibly our player of the season so far.
Mr Schwarzer would beg to differ. He’s the greatest Aussie hero since Alf Stewart. Strewth!
This is what I said - he was my man of the match because he came alive just before we scored. For me, it was him that changed it for us today. He just stepped up a gear and started clicking the team along in the final third after the break. He’s such a clever player
It almost felt like he was surprised to start for Australia and came back full of confidence.Since the World Cup he has really hit form. Could easily hit double figures.
I loved it when we won a corner early into the 2nd half and he was revving up the North stand.
He was key in the 2nd half as he was finding space on the right and got us playing the way we can play.
I bet he's a great character in the dressing room.He did the same when he won the Penna…clutched his ankle for a split second til he made sure the ref had give the pen, then gave a massive double fist pump to the north stand whilst still sat on the floor
I bloody love the little bogan Aussie rascal
Was talking to a Celtic supporting mate who told me that there'd been some sort of falling out between them when Postecoglu was the Australian manager.
Not better, different, both great players.I said he was better than Tav recently and was mostly slated.
I stand by it.
