Rio Ferdinand Racially Abused

Racism flows like a sewer just below the surface of the gutter in every society - especially ours.
In times of economic and political crisis it rears its head above the kerb stones.
Racism, anti-semitism and profiling of any ethnic group is accompanied by the strong smell of effluent from the lumpen elements who perpetuate it.
"Liberal elements" may delude themselves that things "are better now than in...?", but they are not.

Whoever the guy was must have had sh1t for brains, to do such a thing in a place like that nowadays, how backward do you have to be ... what the f*ck is he trying to achieve?? Apart from being shown up as a complete c*nt in the news and likely a ban from their ground .. that sure sounds like fun, great publicity that is.

Events over the past decade have brought chunts like Donald Trump and his friend Nigel Farage into the world, key figures responsible for having basically legitimised such behavior, more and more are starting to think they are empowered again to carry out their agenda and won't see the consequences. When they're criticised or punished in any form it's always the fault of 'loony leftists' .. they're raging at 'snowflakes' who tell them actually, your behaviour is repulsive, perhaps you should consider an education? This guy will probably get a slap on the wrist.

How on Earth did we get here again?

I worry that this problem will not be erased and instead it will fester for a lot longer. It's shocking to see it in football so much again and should be punishable with total bans from the ground and attending league matches in any form.
