Rest in peace, Colin.

I met Colin playing football on the field in Marton when I was a kid and he was playing with his eldest lad and his friends - he was great and was always got all the local kids involved in the games. Hour after hour on the field just across the road from his house.
Such a lovely man and so obviously loved his football. The world really needs more people like Colin.
My thoughts are with his family. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people.

Oh no. Thoughts with his family and friends. My lad only played for nunthorpe for a year and Colin remembered his name and always stopped to chat when meeting him. Lovely man
 
I don't know this man but these are the type of people who should be recognised in the New Year's Honours list, a true stalwart of the community. They give up hour after hour for others and often put their own hands in their pockets to allow everyone to participate and ask nothing in return.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
