Ripley - Netflix

It’s slow. Either boring or building tension slowly. Take your pick. For me, excellent pace with terrific black and white photography. If you loved postwar Italian realist cinema, it’s your cup of tea. But agree will have very mixed reactions.

Just finished it and one of the best series I've seen in recent times.
Fantastic cinematography and suspense building. Wonderful TV
Will not suit everyone as it's a slow burner, but the attention to detail was crucial.

Guardian review

Novel was the first in a series of books about the life of the titular character by Patricia Highsmith, and adapted into a cracking little film with Matt Damon, Jude Law and philip seymour Hoffman.
The John Malkovic film was an odd sequel. But decent.
