Rishi Sunak is a red...

I'm no Tory but if they actually happen then for sure it will not come to 'nothing'.
Moving 700 jobs into an area can only be of benefit, in fact any jobs, and freeports have also proven to bring jobs and investment.
They are commensurate liars but even they would be hard pushed to do nothing after announcing action.
The reality will be somewhere between what was promised and nothing will be delivered. It will almost certainly not deliver all the benefits they are currently claiming, and at some point the investment amount will be lowered. That's how these things work.

It's not about which shops, it's about footfall. People can't be in Teesside Park and Stockton High St at the same time, unless you want to clone people?
It's a heck of lot easier and simpler to drive to Teesside park than it is to navigate the cluster **** road system in Stockton.

agreed but if they had put the money into improving Stockton it would have saved the historic High St

The road system is a genuine nightmare. Whoever came up with it must have been drunk or high or both at the time of design.

probably, and if so they designed it so they could hang around Stockton High St for the last 2 decades, off their heads and free of the crowds.

I didnt say you had to but like every other person in this world I can visit 2 or even three different places in same day or week. I regularly would shop in Boro and then go to Teesside park in the same trip to visit different shops.

...he hates Geordies (especially the Port of Tyne)! 😁

✔Teesport
✔Offshore Wind Power
✔The Treasury relocation.

What a day for our area. All on the back of three points last night too! There's a lot of excitement around today and rightly so.

Up the Teesside and Darlington! Neil Warnock signing on for another year would be the cherry on top 😁
Good grief are people really this gullible 🧐 you do realise the Tories will have our eyes out in the next few years don’t you. More cut backs, tax hikes, and it won’t be too long before free health care is a distant memory - trust me it’s coming

Jobs at the new Treasury campus in Darlington: 750
Jobs lost at Darlington Borough Council since 2010: 730

Civil servant jobs lost on Teesside since 2010 6,300 -not one squeak from the local Tories.

And yet a hand full of local Tories cream their nickers when 750 civil servant jobs announced (not new jobs, just moved jobs)
