Once he has dried out after his whistle stop tour of Teesside today Roary is preparing himself for a massive week of community events next week..
Roary’s Big Week
Roary’s Big Week takes place between Saturday 15th April and Friday 21st April 2023. Roary’s Big Week is a fundraising event where we would like as many of our partner businesses, and football fans to join together in trying to beat last year’s figure of £6,000 to support the work of the foundation throughout our communities. Roary will be busy in the build up to the Big Week, letting people know all about the businesses who support us and the individuals and projects that will be benefiting from the money raised. We would like to ask you to support the event however you can.
Here are a few ideas:
• Take part in "Wear Red for Roary" day on Friday 21st April asking staff to make a small donation to wear their Boro tops or red on the day(please see below)
• A sponsored event, maybe a cycle ride, a steps challenge or a walk to the stadium
• A bake off or cake day, selling cakes for donations
• A swear box to keep things clean for the day
• Blind cards or raffles
• An office fun day with multiple events
We hope that the week will be a huge success on and off the pitch. With home games against Norwich City on Friday 14th April and Hull City on Wednesday 19th April, it should be a big week for Boro and we will have lots of opportunities to showcase the support local fan groups give the Foundation.
