Rodrigo muniz

He looks on paper an interesting loan possibility.

Too risky for me to purchase and give him a contract, until he has hit double figures for us and Leo has given his verdict.

I’m not familiar with either the guy from the Dutch league we’ve offered 8/9 million for or Muniz. Surely Fulham would sell, he didn’t make their team in the championship, why would he make it in the Prem. Seems odd we are offering to buy one and loan the other.

Muniz is not proven at this level I think people just get excited because he is from Brazil.
To be fair he scored a couple of crackers last season, yeah it helps being Brazilian, but I still think there is more to him than his nationality alone.

Armstrong would be my number one choice but looking unlikely it will happen now.

I didn't really want us to spend big bucks on one player this summer but the striker situation is beginning to make me feel anxious and circumstances have changed - we now have the money from the Spence and Tav deals. I'd be tempted to make a £15m offer for Gyokeres and test Coventry.
We don’t have that kind of money to spend on one player - I’d be surprised if we have that to spend in total in fact

He was bought as a long term signing.

He was only 20 when they signed him on a 5 year deal.
Last season was his first in Europe.

I think we must have somewhere around that amount in total. We've offered 5m for Greaves and 8.5m for the Groningen striker in the last 2 days. We signed Forss for 3m before that, That's 16.5m, and still leaves two 2 CM and another striker needed and maybe 2 are loans and one a signing.

I think it'll be about 19m spend from 30m and change income once we get Akpom, Uche etc out the door

If Greaves came in I’d suspect either McNair or Fry would be leaving to offset that - most likely Paddy

The difference is Muniz can be loaned players like Larsen aren't available for loan. We can't afford to buy muniz 10 million Larsen 10 million

Could be wrong but I recall hearing somewhere that Fulham were only interested in a sell.

Fulham are yoyo they want loan so muniz is preparing in championship this season to be their striker next summer when they relagated again

Possible yes, because it's unlikely that we will have backups of their quality. I actually think it would be Fry leaving as he has a lot more suitors and McNair has more versatility to cover CDM and even RWB at a push
