It’s another tick in the box for the scouting team who identified him playing in Brazil.

However, there was a window before January when MC could have used him without the number of loanees being an isissue.

We played Crooks as our striker for quite a few matches in December/January. But to be fair we won most of them and went on a fantastic run so don't think he would have made any difference to our final league position.
