no doubt we will be charging them fook all for the pleasure of extracting itNone of the crude likely to be processed on Shetland, or even used in the UK.
I donāt know the details but I would imagine Equinor are planning an FPSO and tanker operation.
Giving them massive tax breaks. You couldn't make it up.no doubt we will be charging them fook all for the pleasure of extracting it
First well was drilled in 1965Havenāt we been drilling for oil for decades in the North Sea? Why is it suddenly an act of environmental destruction

Donāt be fooled by the southern wishy washy lefts telling you itās bad for the climate. The developing countries are burning fossils ten fold. This is a fraction of their co2 releases.Giving them massive tax breaks. You couldn't make it up.

The local economy (Teesside) depends on the O&G sector. The money in the renewables is just not there.
That's because this shambles of a government won't put the money where it needs to go.Donāt be fooled by the southern wishy washy lefts telling you itās bad for the climate. The developing countries are burning fossils ten fold. This is a fraction of their co2 releases.

It always was, but not universally recognised as such.Havenāt we been drilling for oil for decades in the North Sea? Why is it suddenly an act of environmental destruction

Can't remember the full details as not at work at the minute but there's a conversion of an FPSO being carried out in Dubai. There'll be a permanent manned rig and an unmanned drilling rig planned. What a lot of people don't take into account with some of these works being carried out abroad is there's a lot of UK people employed on these projects. They bring their hard earned money back into the UK and spend it here. Its a shame that these projects can't be built here but it's not an entire loss to the economy.None of the crude likely to be processed on Shetland, or even used in the UK.
