I watched a game the other day and it was the closest I think I've been to empathising with a non-boro player, Barkley looked so gutted, on the verge of tears when he was subbed off.

I thought he could do with a good old Warnock arm around the shoulder and chance to light up the champo.

Pretty sure we could never afford it though.

I think he probably just enjoys a kick about now & again & the £100k a week for doing it... as long as he can make his contract last.
