Yeah it’ll be interesting with it being an entirely different car concept.

I have so enjoyed lewis reign as king that I really hope a beating by a young upstart isn’t in the offing. 36 is old in sport and I don’t think he’s as quick as he once was, instead making up for it with insane race craft and tyre management. Though with George being a Brit too there’s no person I’d sooner him cede to

One for the longer term as Lewis' successor. Lewis will be No 1 at Merc for the next couple of years as he looks for the 8th. If and when he gets it he'll retire leaving Russell to take on the No 1 spot for the future (assuming he's up to it, which it seems he is).

I think Max will get the title this year but Merc sound like they are ahead of the game for next year. Lewis wins, retires and Russell is No. 1 from 2023 (Mother Shipton )

Expecting even bigger things from McLaren next season. They've worked on getting all the back of house stuff boxed away and sorted.
