Dieng is better than fine for me, I'd say he's a step up on last season, certainly in terms of his control and distribution with his feet.

Wow pleasantly surprised at the RVDB comments on here. I was there today and watched him closely and he had me worried. Looked clumsy on the ball at times but I am happy to bow to the broader church and accept I may have had it wrong. Onwards and upwards young man. Make a place in the first 11 your own.

I didn’t see much criticism his way. Playing out of position, he is clearly showing what a brilliant player he is going to be.

It’s funny how people see the game differently because I felt RVDB offered lots going forward. Alongside Jones and Crooks they were all working in tandem, he was superb today.

Next summer I think we will have the choice of selling Rav or Hackney for big, big money. I hope we only sell one of them. Rav is going to be world class. We need to get as much out of him whilst we have him and then sell him for as much as we can with a sell on clause.

Think it's unlikely we'll selling him in the summer. 4 year deal, needs to nail down a starting place first (which he'll probably do by end of the season) and then get a full season under his belt as one of the first names of the team sheet.

If we're looking to sell at a big profit it'll be summer 2025 I reckon as he'll probably be worth more then.

He's also reportedly come here to play and develop, turning down far bigger clubs.

I would say he is willing to get forward, but didn't have the quality in that position to make a difference - often looking for Jones or someone else to do the final bit, which slows us down sometimes

Not to hold this against him, he's playing out of position and doing a great job. I doubt fry wound be whipping them in either!
