Southampton pre season!

Great news and a fantastic gesture from the club. If this lad manages to come back after what he’s been through it will be nothing short of a miracle!

McQueen has not played competitive football since 3rd November 2018 when he ruptured his cruciate ligament playing for Boro.

Complications after surgery saw his road to recovery hit a huge setback.

Yes, hopefully he comes through & has a decent career, certainly earned one
 
Our 92nd registered loaned player, he played 8 games for us, started 3, with 5 games as an unused sub, EFL opponents Palace been his final Boro game when Saville replaced McQueen in the 29th minute in our 1-0 win

Luke Shaw came back from that double leg fracture, Tyrone Mings came back from that knee injury, Duncan Watmore was written off by Sunderland.. much to our delight and good fortune!

Medical science has come on leaps and bounds.. literally.

Great to see Marcus Browne in high spirits, I think he’s gonna be one hell of a player for us!

What number are we up to at the moment? Is it Peltier?

I remember you saying Mendez-Laing our 100th loaned player (even though he wasn’t loaned)

Also:
George Reid became our 100th registered Boro player & the 1st Boro player to score a hattrick at Ayresome Park, which was home to Bury on the 7th October 1905

So where are we now? or is it all just made up?

Yea I got that wrong, I actually thought he was till it was pointed out to me, so removed him from my loan list

Certainly isn't made up Newy, hare dare you 🙄
The figures though are what I've looked through & checked, as I readjust my data I've come across a player I'd missed so not final but as near as you would get from the club, TBH, if they've actually compile that data

Just a playful dig. I heard a Brazilian reporter saying the chance of us signing Muniz was ‘very small’ and I was trying to think of all the Brazilians we’ve had at the club..

Juninho, Emerson, Fabio Moreira, Branco, Richardinho, Doriva, Fabio Rochemback, Fabio da Silva, Afonso Alves, João Morelli, Arthuro, Rhoden, Periera.. 13 so far by my count.

Have I missed any out? I thought you would be the best guy to ask tbh
 
960 so far, only with Shaun who has a different number to mine as I count the player if he returns, ie Stephen Pears, Colin Cooper, Juninho, Andrew Davies etc
