Its interesting when away teams score at Nou Camp or Bernabeu, as they don't really have 'away fan' culture in Spain, so there are like 30 fans up in the Gods cheering but you can barely hear them.

If you’re hoping for there to be a mass walkout on 30 minutes and an empty ground I think you’re going to be disappointed Finny. There’ll be a fair chunk from the south stand and a handful from the north.

Which brings me nicely to a point I'd like to make. I fully respect those who intend to walk out even if I don't intend to follow them. If they think it's the right thing to do go for it.
However they should respect those who choose to stay and watch the game. As for comparing this to divisions in the miners strike I think you need to get a sense of perspective.

I'm not hoping for anything other than respect for each other. Fans mocking their own for having strong beliefs is pretty sad.
Yes, mutual respect is good.

This is it - some fans are taking a stand and those that don't care at all about ticket prices or don't care enough are sitting down.

To be totally objective tho finny, you were mocking chicken runner with your post (and then talking about the miner strikes) when he (and I) were musing about hypocrisy if we chose to walkout.
You’re right though, people should all respect each other’s choices.
