Season Tickets Elsewhere in Championship

You won't believe this but some clubs have not made an announcement yet - Norwich, Cardiff City. Maybe understandable for Norwich but they look likely to have a price freeze for the 7th season in a row for those that renew. Bristol City started 4 weeks ago but they did not get their ifollow free - charged £10 a match this season (season ticket holders).

There is a round- robin going on this afternoon around EFL Championship clubs all commenting on what their clubs are doing for next season. There seem to be a few different schemes..
For instance Nottingham Forest - they started renewals mid April. Prices frozen.
Full refunds were given for last year, on a match by match basis. That was in case people were allowed back during the season.
Or they could opt for ifollow for the season and the difference credited against this year’s renewal.

At last another club that are measuring up well in these COVID times
Stoke City have frozen Season Ticket prices for the 14th season in a row.
That means the cheapest full adult ST at early bid price is £249, just over £12 a game.
Not sure how many of them there are. I remember reading about Derby County's really cheap season ticket prices only to later find out that rather like in a plane or a train there were very few seats in the cheapest category. So, you have to be careful..
But they are also continuing free coach travel to all away league games for Season Ticket holders. That is brilliant - obviously being central it is a whole different budget than for Boro. But it is a wonderful offer all the same.
Full refunds were given for those who had purchased 20/21 Season Tickets so Stoke is now selling 21/22 Season Tickets as per normal.
I don't know about the £10 charges for home game streams.

The front 3 rows in the North and South stand should be discounted heavily and offered to the TJFA clubs to bring the future Boro fans in .
£2 per seat . Fill the seats apart from sell out games , which let's be honest, won't happen soon.
That won't happen due to safeguarding. Kids aren't encouraged to attend without their parents.

Couldn’t they involve schools, they have done this before, bring back the half time penna’s.

I miss the half time penalties, they were better than squinting at the big screen trying to read some messages that have been reproduced in a ludicrously tiny font, or listening to MMP interviewing Vickers about the Robbo Revolution for the 3,000th time.

If I was Vickers I'd have been tempted to make some **** up just to keep it interesting as no one's usually listening anyway.

"Yes Mark the highlight for me was having a threesome with a lass from Park End and Emo in the showers at half time during the 1-0 home defeat to Southampton"

Fantastic pricing that. Shame Boro haven't seized the same initiative...

The half time penalties were re-introduced. And the club do work with schools for this. Aitor Karanka had asked for the penalties to be stopped.

Yes, I remember them coming back but it was very sporadic whilst previously it was every week without fail (or is it just my memory playing tricks).
