Sell Morgan Rodgers in January

20 years old, barely played 50 career games and signed for next to nothing. Rogers is clearly a long term project who has done ok this season, not sure I get the logic of selling him, he wouldn’t be starting if we had a full squad.

Strange to target Rogers and ignore our £5 million signing Latte Lath however….

My patience with him has gone he is not good enough to play at this level for a club of our statue get rid in janaury and sign someone else. I've had enough of him he lost the ball every time he got it today
Be a big brave boy and get yourself up off the floor, kicking and screaming at your age is embarrassing all of us.

Put your toys back in the pram as well, I won't buy you any more.

Carrick doesn’t sound happy, think he was hoping Rogers might have stepped up more…..Greenwood and Barlaser also disappointing imho. We still could have got something out of that.

Cue the bedwetters!!!! he was no better or worse than Greenwood or Crooks today. we had a bad day against a good organised and confident defence.

Rogers was very poor today and I've said before that I don't think he looks ready for regular for Championship football. He looks behind the pace of the game.

However, he has a lot of really good qualities. He's big, strong and athletic. He moves the ball well at his feet. He does pick a good through ball. There's enough there that I think he could become a decent player. Someone made the Ashley Fletcher comparison on the matchday thread and I can see that. It didn't work out for Fletcher despite showing potential, hopefully it does work out for Rogers. At least we didn't pay £8m for him.

I don't think he should be a starter and used mainly for development rather than someone who is going to win you games at this stage. Keep the pressure off him.

Give the lad time, he has ability, let's not continually focus on the negatives after a disappointing result.
Hopefully a positive reaction against Hull.
C'mon Boro

First touch was non-existent and his decision making can be poor. He'll try and flick the ball on to a team-mate for example, when the better option would be to hold onto it and get your head up to see what's around you.

If we're serious about promotion this season it could be worth considering loaning out Rogers and Silvera, and bringing in at least one new winger in January, but I know many will be happy with the idea of us being midtable and developing these young players. If that's the case, then unfortunately we're going to see more poor performances from Rogers as the season progresses, but he'll also have the odd good game.

He's good enough for what he is supposed to be which a young player, still developing, making occasional impact from the bench or against weaker teams. He wouldn't be starting if we were injury free.

I'm less enthused about the players that are our first choice being the calibre that they are. Lath is a dreadful footballer but he is quick. Crooks is not a number 10 but he does have good moments. Greenwood is all round really poor but he can score a goal.

They are all too flawed for us to be winning enough matches to get promoted. There will be games where it all lines up and it works brilliantly and then there are other days where nothing works.

Rogers was poor today. So were Crooks and Greenwood. I wasn't enamoured with Clarke either. But that doesn't mean we need to just get rid of them for one bad game

What an absolute doyle. Why pick on a young player in a weakened team, who wasn't even our worst player.
Some of our fans are as thick as pigshit, utterly embarrassing.

It's not just this game though every game in the championship we've played Rodgers in he's looked rubbish. His only good games have been in the cup against lower league sides

I like Silvera alot more but Carrick never seemed to play him. Today we shoulda also played Coburn instead of Rodgers and had latte lath on the wing
