Last news from Australia. I guess it doesn't effect us in the UK but my first WTF moment this morning.
Shark attacks are to be rebranded as "interactions" or "negative incounters" in an attempt to change the predators' image as a "man-eating monster."
Officials in parts of Australia will also refer to "bites," rather than "attacks," as they seek to avoid scaring people away from beach's. This is on the back of a record year of shark related deaths (sorry "encounters").
