Honestly it’s the hope that kills you. And if your prophecy comes true, we then have to beat Burnley to then still be three points behind SU with a game more played.

Let’s just focus on the playoffs, we’re burning a lot of emotion and energy on this 2nd spot that we won’t get
 
Luton are as likely to get second as us and we've left ourselves too much to do. Done well to get play offs, let's finally win at Wembley!
 
Sadly I think the only thing Wigan will get is their ar5es handed to them. I do think last weekend will prove pivotal for a top 2 spot (and i'm usualy Mr Optimistic) but we will keep at it and at very worst get one of the top 2 play off spots so we get a home second leg.

I wouldn't say they are on a roll, they are grinding out results in attritional style. I still think there's a chance of them chucking in a few rogue results, probably more likely draws than defeats but anything is possible as they haven't been free scoring recently.

I said a few weeks back I fancied 2nd spot to go to the final day unsettled and I still think that's possible (not saying who will claim it just that it won't be sewn up going into the final round of fixtures).
 
Wigan got the moral boost and hope they can save the season with the reading points deduction. They will get a victory in this one
 
We needed to be almost perfect & now I just think too few games for us to make it up..

We still need to be perfect to give us a chance of going into the Cov game with a chance..
 
Time for Fletcher to finally prove FMTTM right and show there is a “player in there”.

(More likely to miss the game with a fractured finger nail in the warm up)
 
Could be interesting.
Wigan could give them a shock.
They`ve got the players - just not the confidence and there`s been a lot of crap going on inside the club.

Wigan have shown some fight of late. Could frustrate sheff utd if they parked the bus and keeper had a worldie. A draw would be a surprise but odds are against it. Win for sheff utd albeit only by 1 goal i reckon.
