Sheffield United

Sheffield United fans on their forum seem to think Wilder is clueless. Some also think they could be Championship relegation fodder next season.

When people talk about managers taking responsibility that's the least I can do' (he's clearly learnt from throwing some of our players under the bus)
Nope, still blaming the players
Afterwards, he indicated that his players had not followed his instructions and suggested he would look to the club's younger players for the remainder of their relegation battle....
"if people don't stick to a plan you will be punished at every level. Maybe the young guys will want to stick to that plan." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68474634

Wilder's actions speak louder than his hot air - putting on the kids when 5-0 down, subbing off his captain (I don't think it was injury related) - he's going the way of other managers fuelled by ego and a couple of very good seasons, like John Gregory.

I do think Sheff U could be in trouble next season. They went up through graft and experience, but a lot of those players have been moved on, they weakened their squad before the season started, and getting a shellacking every week at home demoralises everyone and everything. They're in a worse state than Southampton were at this time last year. Burnley seem to realise they were promoted 'ahead of schedule' and look to be thinking about next season instead, while Luton will probably just lack the killer quality to drag themselves out of the bottom three, unless the PL do them a favour with Forest points deduction.

Pretty sure they are struggling financially as well.

Always had a dislike for Sheff Utd and unsure where it stems from. Its great that Wilder has some how made the worst team in the league...worse.

I almost feel sorry for them.. almost.

home 0-8 v the Skunks
away 0-5 v Arsenal
away 0-5 v Burnley
home 2-5 v Brighton (FA Cup)
home 0-5 Aston Villa
home 0-5 v Brighton

home 0-5 v Arsenal after 35 mins tonight.
Plenty of goals to enjoy though, there is that.

An aggregate score of Arsenal 11 Sheff Utd 0 this season! :ROFLMAO:
To be fair we were getting score lines like this against Arsenal years ago.

I remember my last visit to Highbury 7-0 and some tonkings at home with Kanu and Anelka running riot.

All other big clubs we could handle, just not arsenal 🫣

They look and sound candidates for a drop into League 2.
They'll have parachute payments, but no team left.
It'll pay any debts off, but whose going to take the job?
Archer must have learnt not all is rosey in the Premiership.
Crickey.
We've got no worries compared to them.
Errrr.. ............. hang on a mo...🤣

Worst ever GD in the Premier League is -69, and they're currently on -50 with eleven games to go. Another couple of heavy defeats could see them claim that record. Although it's held by Derby, so I'd be equally happy if they kept it.
