Recently I seem to spend my life disappointed because I am an glass half full person.

I understand that sometimes things are 5hit but nowadays it just seems that people whobare pessimistic always seem to be right.

No not at all.

Same goes for me really but one thing that Covid has taught me is that football is merely the most important of the most unimportant.

Chin up mate we are all feeling downbeat at the moment.

Cheers mate but at the minute it's not just football it's almost everything.

It's a bit like somebody is watching you and knows what you are thinking, planning and assuming and just goes, no that's not happening.

All a bit disconcerting and just making like a little a bit of struggle

Chin up mate, we all feel like that at times

I'm sure that the entire world can identify with those thoughts at the present time mate and all have a story to tell.
However, for our own well being, I think it far more healthy to be optimistic rather than the alternative.

Things will get better.

UTB and best wishes to you. (y)

Pak_Doo_Ik, I get days when I feel down, even at times with my loved one around me, sometimes I could go on here & feel 10 times worse, cycle of life really

I just push myself through it, a photo of my grandaughter, post old Boro stuff, read other posters happy replies & I'm feeling OK again

As the previous poster said, we'll get through it

You are not alone.
There’s very little in this life to be happy about and look forward to.
I watched the game on sky and switched off well before the end. I’ve never done that before.

Cheers all, it wasn't a football based post, just a life thing.

Sometimes I suppose you just can't keep making lemonade, when given lemons. It just seems like things have become a bit more of a struggle lately and positivity is thin on the ground.

I'm sure it will turn round and things will be become better. I think you can't change who you are and I will continue to believe the optimism is an outlook that should be embraced rather than denied.
