That's a bit harsh.
1. Not helped out by his rightback who should've gone in to challenge Crooks rather than leave him free, he could see it all right in front of him & immediately tried to shift blame onto George. IMO more the RB than George's fault.
2. Trying to retain possession in, apparently, his first game since August it was understandable that his touch was a bit off but yeah, his fault.
3. Brum pushing forward for an equaliser their whole team was beyond the centre circle in the Boro half when Boro broke, so they were all out of position. The other CB looked to stumble & George came in to cover if he'd fallen, he then told him to get a challenge in & the guy hesitated & that is when Crooks played the ball to an unmarked Chuba.
But Chuba went from being knocked over flat out on the pitch in the Boro half to running into the box unmarked, there'd been 2-3 Brum players around him, where was their desire to get back, track his run & make scoring hard for him? George did make an effort to get back at Chuba but it looked like he was thinking about the bigger picture of giving a penalty away & getting a red card in the last minutes of a game you are already losing. So again not blameless but not solely to blame.
