Small Car For A First Time Driver

My daughter bought a Kia Picanto. We test drove the Aygo, not bad, but the Picanto was miles better. Great car to drive, zero tax, 50+mpg, really good around town and surprisingly on the motorway. And still has 2 years warranty. Crap stereo though........
 
Like others have said it's the insurance that will cost . The black box option (well it's the size of a memory stick actually that plugs into the diagnostic port) is the way to go. If she sticks to the speed limits then the price can come down about 40% in year 2
As for the car a 3 year old Hyundai i10 should be in price range. Still with 2 years on warranty...
