Stewart Downing. Might surprise a few but I've spoken to him a few times and he's just very approachable and down to earth. Rav Van Den Berg also a top lad by all accounts. All the time in the world for the fans.

He coaches the kids for Mark Proctors Academy now. Great with the kids. Comes across a really good bloke. I thought he might have jacked it in now he had his new role with Leeds but he was still there this week.

Proctor, another cracking bloke. Really funny, likeable man.

Not sure Mogga or Leadbitter were smashing lads. Too intense and focused. I think I'd be a little bit on edge in either of their company.
Ben Gibson always seems like a smashing lad. As did John Hendrie.

Another example of Crooksy being a great lad... a friend of a friend sadly died after an epileptic seizure. He wasn't very old. A fundraising event takes place every year and 2 years running Crooksy has turned up unannounced and put £500 in the kitty. Top bloke.
