The big question now is the commentary teams if they pull out thereās no show.
Youve been made to look like a right idiot there, havnt yaI fcuking hope no one accepts doing it but you just know that that gobby so and so Alex (grabbing any opportunity) Scott will gladly step in with her no morals approach!
And Final ScoreAlex Scott has pulled out of Football Focus
fans want to hear the players, the managers, the analysis of key controversial decisions.Excellent. You mean it will be a football show?
while continue to air people like Lord Alan Sugar who tweets constantly pro government and extreme comments including blatant racism. It's about the double standards as much as the oppression, and the clear political motivation behind those double standards. The fuss - in your words - is about a Tory appointed head of BBC clamping down on an established BBC presenter criticizing a disgraceful Tory policy
IT's nothing to do with a ruse, it's absolutely normal for talent to be on contract basis in the industry. Presenters do lots of different channels the Beeb is just a regular customer of his.hy is, an established presenter associated so strongly with the BBC workibg on a self employed basis for what 20s years plus. He should be a BBC employee certainly hmrc think so and the grey matter what he can and can't say would also be clearer contractually The BBC and lineker are wrong to have such an employment arrangement same as the likes of Lorraine Kelly on itv its a tax ruse.
You need to allow for inflationI'll do it, but only if they pay me in balloons. You can never have too many balloons.
but lets balance this with, he does walk the walk, he has skin in the game with immigrants, he's taken at least two into his home and done lots of charity work in this area. The Beeb know this and have always known this. The issue is now that the PM and Home Secretary have installed a shill in the Beeb and pulled in a favour.I'm not stupid or naive enough to compare this directly to the man on the street. It's much easier to take a moral stance when you're financially very comfortable. But we shouldn't forgot the power of unity when our friends and family are striking for better pay, conditions etc.
Jees, it'll be yanks talking about soccerball haha
The commentary teams have pulled out.
They'll probably use somebody else this weekend, but they've ****ed it.
Side issue perhaps but as youāve raised it plenty donāt. Iād be glad to see the back of it. Especially the last one which is always based on proudly flaunted ignorance (ādonāt know or care what the law says that decision is wrongā). Iām in the always fast forward that stuff camp.fans want to hear the players, the managers, the analysis of key controversial decisions.
To be fair must add that what sets Lineker apart is that he has read them and does pull the others up on it occasionally.Side issue perhaps but as youāve raised it plenty donāt. what you are commenting on is the quality of the analysis not the need for it. I wouldn't argue that the quality of it isn't always the best.Side issue perhaps but as youāve raised it plenty donāt. Lineker is actually the best of all them, his job is to ask the questions and keep them honest, which he doesTo be fair must add that what sets Lineker apart is that he has read them and does pull the others up on it occasionally.
H9w do you know if you don't watch it?I have to admit, Iāve never watched MOTD since I left the UK, so I really donāt see whatās all the fuss about. Itās never been the same since the likes of Jimmy Hill hosted the show.
