Superb post match interview. Comes across as great guy and the fans chanting his name at the end made him cry. He was incredible today, it’s not gonna be the longest chapters in his excellent professional career but it seems he’s really took to the club and the fans love him too. As I said in another thread, I’d offer him another year, he’s been brilliant every time he’s been called upon, and as many have said, he seems like exactly the sort of personality you want in and around your clubs culture

He had a great little drag back between two midfielders in the second half. Got the biggest cheer of the afternoon. Good game, but nervy. Couldn't hear the home fans, our lot just drowned them out for 90 mins.

Couldn’t agree more with the OP. We really need to get him in the coaching system, for too long we’ve let the big characters go and undervalued what they bring to the club.

The guys an inspiration, imagine going through that and having the strength to get back to a very high level of professional sport, but then to still be performing at this level. It’s remarkable.
Give him another season or at least some job in the club, having people like him around can only be a huge benefit to everyone involved with the club
