Songs that are longer than 6 minutes

Most of Metallica’s best works are epic in length. Usually a mixture of chapters, telling a story. Symphonic, you could say.
if you’ve never listened to their full range, you’d be forgiven for thinking they were just a thrash metal band. They are so much more. Composers extraordinaire.
This is musicianship of the highest level..

 
This track is an absolute metal masterpiece from my favourite band of all time. For anybody that hasn't had the pleasure this is 'Shogun' by the mighty Trivium

After 56 years since its release I heard it (and Always See Your face from Four Sail) played by a DJ for the first time in my life last week - in the interval at Lael Neale gig
