Man Uniteds best players in 99 were English, Liverpool won it in 2005 inspired by Steven Gerrard, Man United had Giggs, Scholes, Rooney, Neville, Ferdinand in 2008. For real? Or tongue in cheek? Architect of Man Utd’s successes was a Scot and key player to the first final an Irish man, you also credit Welshman Giggs! Liverpool managed by a Spaniard and the goalkeeper that won the penalty shootout a Pole.
