Think he will be the next one for the chop after tonight. He looked like a worried man after last weekend’s game.

Their big Greek chairman was at the game and left before the end according to reports.
Forest forum is convinced that's his last game.
1 win in 11.
Their board also thinks their team is full of overpaid idiots

Very perceptive them Trees fans.
The rumble in the jungle a few weeks back was that his bags were packed at the bottom of the stairs.......

Something very unlikeable about him.

Think it’s his face.

Sky made a comment about the way he went over to the away fans tonight.
Didn’t he do something similar last season but then stayed on? Probably the end this time though.

Hodgson also was an odd appointment beyond the end of last season, kept them up but needed some longer term planning after.

I think they have it spot on.

Their spending spree when they got promoted was ridiculous - its basically the same as Chelsea have done, no planning just pure scatter gun thinking if we throw enough something will stick.

He is a decent manager but with the investment and ambitious owner, survival now is not going to be seen as good enough.

He's just struggling that many of the refs can't do him a favour like they used to in the Championship because of the level of scrutiny and VAR, the weasel faced tvvat.

Let's see how "classy" he is when collecting his P45.

Will he be gone by dinner time?

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has said that he has never seen a bond between a manager and fans as the one between Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest supporters.

Despite a painful 5-0 loss against Fulham on Wednesday night, the majority of the travelling fans in the away end stayed until the full-time whistle to sing Cooper’s name. The head coach made his way over to the away end and held his hands up in an apology for the team’s performance.

In his post-match press conference, the Forest boss spoke about what the reception meant to him. But despite the support from the fans, there is speculation that the defeat against Fulham may have been Cooper’s last game in charge of the club.

Cooper talks

Steve Cooper has been speaking to Sky Sports News this morning.

He was asked if he feels like he's fighting for his job.

He replied:

"I don’t think like that, that’s not a good way to think, it’s like saying to a player ‘You’ll have to do well in your next game or you won’t play again for the club’. It’s just not a thought process I believe in using.
"Of course we are disappointed with the results, and particularly the one last night and the performances – but more than ever you have got to show belief and character in what you want to be and what you stand for and what the football club and supporters want to see as well.
"That is my thought more than ever. Of course there is going to be a lot questions, stories and whatever else said and rightly so, I respect that, that’s the life of a manager and I don’t think it should be any other way
"But you have to stay honed in on your day’s work and where you are at in terms of preparation for the next game and if I let anything else creep into my thoughts then I am not giving 100 per to that job – and that’s what I want to do."
