Stocktons a shiit'ole

not really... not when you consider the question raised.. 34% of kids in child poverty.. yeah mate.. can't stop laughing 🙁
It's have I got news for you, they're quite clearly not poking fun at child poverty, they're poking fun at the statement. Majority of stuff on the news is "no laughing matter" if you're taking it to the Nth Karen degree.

Is animal abuse funny? How many jokes have we seen about shagging seagulls or punching horses?

apologies.. i misread your context. for the record i find the HIGNFY tweet/X funny.

Matter has been dealt with according to the deputy speaker.

Even though the living misnomer has denied saying what everyone (apart from the speaker sat a couple of meters away) heard.

I cannot believe he has got away with this.
He basically stood up in the commons and apologised for the language then practically challenged Cunningham with '...so what are you calling me?' as if to dare to call him a liar in commons.
He should have been sacked but the bar is so low now that it was never an issue - even the speaker said that they have dealt with it and its time to crack on with the business theyre elected for.
Standards and decency?

There's plenty of pubs to choose from in Stockton and they cater for all ages.

I'm not sure about the eatery side, I know Sorriso across from the Globe but I tend to eat locally.

I've been to Stockton quite a bit recently and I've found it busier than in the recent past, perhaps it's condensing the shops that has done it.

Losing Castlegate has made the place look a lot better, opening the end of the High St up to the river could be a great move.

I remember suggesting that on here years ago and being scoffed at. Hope it's a success
Excellent pizza and friendly service at Carpaccios, just around the corner from the Arc. Always grab a bite to eat here when attending a gig.
