Looks like our point with them wasn’t a bad result after all! They’ve suddenly turned into Ajax 95, albeit too late you’d think to realistically make the playoffs.

Was really impressed with them, they were a nightmare to play against. Got very leggy in the last ten but not surprised the effort they put in. A but like us, some of the better players are on loan

They have 7 games left, 21 possible points, that would give them 72 points, it could be enough to scrape into last play off spot.
Last game at Watford possibly hardest fixture.
Stranger things have happened.

That would men either Millwall, Norwich and/or Blackburn getting just 11 points out of their remaining 7 games while Stoke win every game - not going to happen. Millwall have Wihan, Blackpool and Birmingham in that run and Norwich have Rotherham, QPR and Blackpool. I mean Stoke could win all 7 but with Watford and West Brom in their last 7 I think it would be too much

Saw their score yesterday after our match had finished and it says a lot about how good they looked against us that it didn’t come as a shock.

When I saw Stoke last month I said they are a definite top 6 side. I made some money on them yesterday.

The final score doesn't reflect Stoke's dominance.

Coventry were barely in it for the entire 90, and when they had the ball, Stoke pressed them so aggressively they kept on conceding possession.

A Sky Blues friend of mine was distraught last night. He was adamant they were gunning for the playoffs, humbled is the word.

Hope not. It would be stoke manager neil poyentially again in the playoffs and we know what happened there.

Assuming they don't reach the playoffs they'll have the same problem as us if we don't go up. Can they keep hold of their players and maintain the momentum?

Frustrating being a fan of any side in a lower division. Hard to build something over time because the vultures come circling if you fall short (not to mention the loanee issue).

I wasn't overly surprised by that result tbh.

They're like a train now and like previous posters have said I'm glad they probably won't make the playoffs. It's just a pity they're not playing anyone else immediately around us for the remainder of the season, in fact they don't have to play anyone at a higher level than Coventry so they could well have a storming run until season's end?

The first thing I thought of when I thought of them playing the Sky Blues was "May as well start polishing Chuba's golden Boot now as Viktor is getting Nowt from this..."🤣

Really impressive at the moment and really impressed when we played them.

Could a big shout for a promotion push next season. Be great with Alex Neil finishes above Sunderland

72 wont get you in the playoffs this season, it scrapes you in on a poor champo season

Their right back, Hoever, looks a good player. Only 21 and scored four goals since joining on loan in January, including one against us. He is on loan from Wolves. Might as well do a buy one get one free with Ryan Giles?

Normal play off cut off is 75 isnt it? Good job as I wouldnt fancy playing Stoke, few would i suspect
