As ever with the first match of preseason, it's a fitness exercise and nothing more. Of course it feels better to win than lose, but this really is a time to treat those two imposters just the same.

1-0 against a team that finished 6th in their league but a long way behind even the 4th placed team Sporting, isn’t too shabby I’d say, kept a clean sheet and it kick starts pre season nicely, gets some minutes in what will be pretty hot conditions.

Yeah. Guimares are a decent side. In Europe this season and 6th in a better league than ours.
