I see Morgan came on in the 29th minute and was taken off again in the 79th minute. I haven't been watching the game but know he had previously received a yellow card and not sure if this was to protect him.
 
Just a taster for the lad, easing him in gently. He nearly scored a carbon copy of his Exeter goal shortly after coming on.
 
Villa are just playing with us. Probably our first mil add-on is based on him coming on in a prem league game and finishing it on the pitch. Obv by taking him off they don't need pay us the first mil yet . Typical prem league club out-thinking our add-on clause management team.

He wasn't doing a great deal, his touch was off on a few occassions and ultimately the game just passed him bye, to be fair to him I think they replaced him with Zaniola who was somewhere in the region of £45m

MR will be out on loan next season IMO

Hasn't he already done that? That's his second substitute appearance.

He might be happy at the moment but coming on after 29 mins and being subbed 50 minutes later is going to dent his confidence and would wipe the smile off any players face.

I can see why you would say that….. but

There is another view - he’s just had 50 mins playing for Villa in the Premiership.
Wow - he’d have taken that at the start of the season 😏

I also get that side of the argument but unless you are injured, being subbed after coming on as a sub is a bit of a slap in the face. In the player ratings, he got a 5.
