It's shocking isn't it? I guess they've dehumanised asylum seekers so much even they themselves have started to feel worthless

Agreed. I was having a discussion yesterday with some colleagues about 'imagine if we treat asylum seekers and immigrants with warmth and made every effort to integrate them instead of treating them like cattle'. Maybe things wouldn't be as bad as they are across the spectrum.

Not sure that this correct - seem to be saying that wrong person was named.
