with Newcastle:

Nearly 10 years since they’ve played a league game.. I honestly don’t think they care anymore.

Sunderland are currently screaming blue murder that Boro vs Sunderland isn’t a Derby.. 15 miles further away than Newcastle..

They never shut up about us.. like Derby or Coventry.. I think they used to be alright.. now they are just embarrassing and showing themselves up.

Hope we win because we’re 4 points off the playoffs, hope we win cos they binned off Mogga..
 
I work with Mackems (in Peterlee) hate Boro and regard the fixture as a Derby.

I think their 6 wins in a row vs the mags diluted our games, prior to that run they couldn’t buy a win vs Newcastle.
 
Mags are so far ahead of them in terms of finance and league position were their derby these days IMO.
Especially when you make a pigs ear of when you play them.
Tommorow… if we go a goal down god forbid, i hope the Crowd stay with the players. Keep the songs going.
 
I’m quite excited about tomorrow’s game, I expect that sunland might try and go for us from the off, not wanting to have a repeat of the embarrassing 4-0 thrashing they got from us at their place, I expect them to be much more up for it.

On the other hand they seem to hate their new manager already so we should be taunting them about mogga from the terraces and if we can score first it may cause mayhem.

I expect passion, boots and elbows, fists and heads even. All depends again on who is fit for us and if carrick and the crowd get them wound up enough.
