Injuries to his anus.

To me that basically says he was raped especially when the report states he had his trousers pulled down.

They should be in jail and be in jail for a very long time.
 
While I don't disagree with the sentiment that the officers should be locked up, it's worth noting that an immediate jail sentence in France is somewhat rarer than here. A few years back, I was formally questioning German prosecutors, who were insistent that suspended sentences were extremely serious and indeed were 'a prison sentence'. Contrast with the US and Russia who lock up several times more people per '000 than we do.

The sentences would have to be in-line with guidelines you would think.

Seems insane to us, the french folk also seem a bit incensed with it too give the protests.
