SUV advice

I'm looking to buy a second hand SUV. Obviously there are plenty of variables, but would any of you recommend any of the following?

Peugeot 2008 or 3008
Nissan Qashqai
Ford Puma
Dacia Duster
VW Tiguan

Or any others for that matter?

My last 2 cars have been Mazda CX 5 sports.
Love the driving position. Lots of room and the spec on them is superb. Kept them serviced and never had to pay for any issues over the last 5 years.
Oh and I don't have to make any funny age related noises getting in and out of them as I practically just step in.

Tiguan all day long... but you need to pay up for a decent trim level.... the entries are very basic

but if you want cheap... the Duster

avoid the Qashqui... they have a tendency to need new engines after 5 years

Puma is tiny (is basically a jacked up fiesta)

same with the 2008... its tiny

3008 has a decent amount of space but its just a pug at the end of the day.

I had a Qashqi - couldn't disagree more. Ran it for years without any bother, was still hitting close to 60mpg on a long run even with 120k on the clock.

Tiguan - get the SEL or R though if you want nice trim.

Or have a look at the Skoda Kodiaq or Karoq - Driven a Kodiaq which was LOVELY. Owned a Karoq, don’t go for the 1l petrol. Owned a 2.0d Tiguan SEL and it was a brilliant car.

If you go for the Tiguan, and its a 2.0l petrol, make sure its had the water pump replaced - they go after 50-60k miles

Id also throw in the BMW X1 as an option

Ive known three people with the small petrols that have needed new engines between 3-5 years.

Yeah the Karoq is a beaut.

Also the SEAT Ateca... All three are the same car

I would have said Tiguan, BUT, I had a Volvo V90 as a hire car last year, and it was everything you would ever need in a car.
