Tav needs to grow up a bit

I think we got the raw deal on decisions quite a few times so I could understand his frustration, but he's a professional and should know better really. Cheap yellow that

Throwing a tantrum and kicking the ball away like a silly kid. What a totally unnecessary booking.
I agree, it is typical of footballers though and I would fine them for stuff like that. Put the money in the foundation where some good comes from it

I don't blame him, you work your balls off all week to get to the top of your game then some bloke rocks up and is much worse at his job than you are at yours (could be team mate or official). Sometimes you just can't hold back your frustration at how crap they are

I wasn't convinced by the decision which prompted that angry response.
Did you also hear Bola arguing with the linesman earlier? That was quite amusing.

He’s definitely our most influential player
Bit frustrating he was playing at all tonight. Just about every key player was rested. Except him. If he had got a Browne injury on that pitch which was not fit for the purpose of playing football at this level then the decision to play him was very suspect.

He always comes across as an arrogant little so and so

Does he? I wouldn’t say that. Always comes across extremely likeable to me, there is a difference between showing frustration and arrogance. His body language and the way he tracks back suggests he isn’t arrogant. On the other hand, Roberts body language yesterday came across really poorly.

I wouldn't say he comes across as arrogant, confident, yes, but he needs to be. Creative players need to have that confidence to keep trying different things to create a chance or score. Your tricks or passes aren't going to come off all the time so you need that inner belief to back yourself and to keep trying different things, even when they don't always come off.

I thought this season was a big one for Tav as previously I've been frustrated with him for picking the wrong option or having his head down and not seeing the correct time to release the ball, and not working hard enough when he loses possession. However, I have to give him credit this year I think he's brought much more consistency to his game and he seems to be working hard both on and off the ball.
