I can see you're a new member @iamborome.Always overhits corners and free kicks....poor tonight
Agreed, he had a very good game last night, the yards he put in down our left, tackles, blocks, all the stuff that often goes unnoticed. His corners were OK, they were a very big team so we were unlikely to get much joy with stuff in the air. One thing I think Wilder needs to work on is our set pieces which are rarely productive and (IMO) even more rarely innovative or imaginative.I thought Tav played really well.
Agreed and yet he was singled out time and time again by a number of posters who seem to want to take their frustration out on him. I’ve always said that despite some errors he still remains an important cog in our side and thankfully Wilder sees that as well.Agreed, he had a very good game last night, the yards he put in down our left, tackles, blocks, all the stuff that often goes unnoticed. But yeah, Tav had a good game last night.
Let’s trust Wilders judgement. Also did this really need a separate
CW is the man and he thinks that Tav is the best man few have for that position at the moment. Come the Jan window he will surely come up with someone who will be effective in the position.
He doesn’t cover as much ground as people believe, doesn’t always track back as is also believed.Last night he lost the ball and recovered it ,which should be expected, especially when he lost it in a dangerous position by trying to be clever.Too often he’s watching the play from a few yards away ,the game is passing him by at the moment.Tav plays a role we have not had in so many years at Boro, and that is a CM that covers an incredible amount of ground and never seems to tire. I would love to see his distance covered stats, I could be wrong but he seems to run forever.
