Not many, if any, threads about our game tomorrow so thought I'd start one...

Wonder if we will see many changes with there now being officially nothing to play for (other than points, as Carrick would say).

Ajay Matthews made his debut from the bench against Leeds, but with him being a striker it's unlikely he'll start. Gilbert though, in my opinion should 100% start in place of Silvera.

Ayling probably straight back in for Dijksteel, Bangura looked lively when he came on, I'd like to see him start but think the club will want to give Thomas a go to give him another chance of making the England squad for the Euros... 😬

I picked 10 of those 11
My only change was Barlaser (or someone else) IF we aren't looking at keeping O'Brien - as the game's a dead rubber
If it's not decided - or we've decided to keep him - then I'd go with him too


Hope Gilbert is given a couple of games to see what he can (or can't) do when starting

Or maybe just in the wrong thread.

I suspect that Gilbert will be on the bench, although I would prefer it if he started. Silvera and Greenwood can sit on the bench instead.
 
Gilbert and Bangura should start, those are the only changes I'd make.

Give some young lads 20 minutes at the end.

That's exactly how I would go and I'd look to give Matthews/Finch 15mins, possibly Law McCabe 10mins and Lennon a couple of mins too. This is a dead rubber for both sides, so time t try a few kids out and see if they sink or swim.

I'd go with exactly the same team and then look to give some youngsters minutes off the bench depending on how the game is going (although it's usually better to blood youngsters at home rather than away, unless cruising to victory).

I think I agree. Bangura impressed in his cameo the other night; he's still at the stage of needing English football experience.

Not sure what we have in Gilbert, but I'm happy to give him a chance; didn't do himself any harm on Monday either.

Probably have Ayling back too; more likely to be here next year than Dijksteel?

Woops, I forgot about Dijksteel.

Obviously Ayling should start too, I was just going off our usual side in my head.

I think it's time for Dijksteel to move on.

We can't change the past now.

I'm not sure of your comment was just an observation, or a reason for not picking him.

That amount of time on pitch for the kids will hardly see if they sink or swim. I’d give them more time
