He’s been responsible for more goals against than any other player in the squad - simply not good enough to start every week in a side that aspires to be promoted. I don’t get how he’s achieved near cult status whilst stalwarts like Crooks (who cost less than Engel) seem to be a regular target for the boo boys

Is Dijksteel injured? I wouldn’t be against him over Ayling. I am not a huge fan of Clarke playing with Engel. I would prefer VDB or even McNair in.

I honestly don't see why McGree can't start - what's he made of, candy floss? Qatar is 3 hours ahead of the UK, so jet lag isn't a factor - 12.30 kick off's like 3.30 for him anyhow.

If that's right then the logical thing is 4-3-3 with Forss in the middle but wouldn't put it past Carrick to stick with 4-2-3-1, Forss on the right, Greenwood as CF and Hackney as left wing.
