I would Diego - beat Villa and gives us confidence for Chelsea. But.....Would you? We have a huge game against Chelsea. I’m not sure we can go full strength with the current situation
I wouldn't start anyone who is going to start against Chelsea that's for sure. Be a good game to get some youngsters on the pitch and give them some minutes and hopefully gain some of Carricks trust as they might be needed over the coming games. Id hazard a guess that Viall will be heavily rotating their team too with the fixtures they have coming upWhat would you go with?
Don't do a Wilder and destroy the kids by playing them together and letting them sink. You can't just take 11 second stringers and expect them to hold their own having never played together. But you do need to bring some in. If Injuries allow it, maybe something like.

Dijksteel - RVDB - Clarke - Bangura
Hackney - Howson
Jones - Rogers - Gilbert
Coburn/Latte Lath
Look to give Kavanagh at least 30 minutes and the same for A. J. Bridge or McCabe. If Dijksteel isn't fit, give Simpson or Agyemang a chance to show what they can do from the start. Max Howells might also be an option out wide if you give Rogers a breather and give Gilbert a run in the middle.
If we win, it's a complete fluke but we can use it to ease some seniors back into the team without wrecking our youngsters but we do need to give the likes of Gilbert and a couple of youngsters the chance to show if they have some potential.
Not even close. About the only player out of that 11 he regarded as a first team regular was Watmore. He was trying to bin Fry and Dijksteel. Hard to tell what he thought of McNair as he was desperately looking for a left-footed centre-back to replace him though he seemed to be planning to move him to the right. Roberts and Smith were back-ups. Hackney, Boyd Munce, Gibson, and Finch were all thrown in together and never got near the first team under Wilder. Bola by virtue of being left-footed was an occasional desperation pick.7 of the starting 11 were first teamers, 8 if you count Boyd-Munce as he was signed for the first team, as were 2 of the subs that came on.
