Wing combinations of Djiksteel and Jones on the right and Bola and Giles left.

Hopefully we can get Dael and/or Paddy back soonest.
 
Not entirely surprised at the 'surprising' line-up, I think both managers will be conscious they they could next meet in thr play off final.

Resting a couple is tempting for Carrick, but I also think it's a bit about keeping our cars close to out chest for that potential game.
 
To be honest its mainly second string tonight.

Steffan, Giles, Lenihan, Howson, possibly Archer - first string.

We’ve rested 2 players - Akpom and Hackney and they are subs, the rest are injured. We’ve replaced them with experienced players, not kids.

Plus the only teams league position we can affect negatively is our own.

Even by the football leagues standards it would seem perverse to deduct points.
 
I don't think many teams, if any, deliberately go out to injure opposition players. They might try to target someone, as in maybe getting a few early tackles in, but not sure about this worry about deliberately trying to injure someone. As we have seen with McGree, Ramsey, and others, injuries can happen in training, matches, etc. Only reason to rest someone is if they are not 100% or carrying a knock. Interesting to see how we line up tonight. Might be 433.
 
Sensible, see what we can learn about them without them learning too much about us at full strength. Plenty enough in this side to get a result. UTB
