looks like the rumour about engel carrying a knock may be true. not on the bench even.

Not sure that team is good enough, if I am being honest.
 
My heart has just sank a little looking at that line up - the bench has very little to offer either
 
Not really anyone you would be calling to bring on to make a change is there. Going to be difficult. Strange that Hackney’s disappeared again.
 
6 of the 9 subs have about as much chance of getting on tonight as I do. So we’re down to only Barlaser, Bangura and Gilbert to come on and freshen it up.

Where is everyone else? The injuries seem to be getting worse instead of better. It’s absolutely off the scale.

Hackney was never fit. Carrick put him on the bench for one game to "reintegrate" him into the matchday squad, but he wouldn't have come on that day and he's still not ready.

Anyway, is it 4 at the back, or 5 with Jones as RWB?

It doesn’t make sense though. Unless he’s had a setback then surely he’d be closer to playing now than he was when he was named as a sub? And we have fewer players to choose from tonight. I suppose he must be injured again but it’s very frustrating. Will it ever end.
