Ted Lasso

dammit, I was hoping this was to say Series 3 was out!!
Me too.

I loved it as did my wife who hates football. In the s***y world of horrible human beings that we live in (and especially football) it was lovely to see a TV series about morals and being nice to others.

We'll written and some very good characters. I liked Schitts Creek in a similar way.

Yes definitely. That's what it's all about. Owners trying to be a bitch to get revenge on her ex husband but she's too nice a person. Keeley the wag helps everyone. Roy Kent, football hardman (at the same time Roy Keane became more likeable) shows his softer side coaching kids and being part of some old ladies book club.

In a very light hearted way it looks at the psychology of why some of us act like complete bell ends, when deep down something has happened to make us that way and a bit of kindness and being part of a team can make us better people.

Think sadgit was referring to Schits Creek?

we watched 3 of the 1st series and just couldn't get into it and couldn't warm to the characters.. does it get better then?

Obviously you can take my opinion with a pinch of salt, as I'm not a huge fan of Ted Lasso, but Schitt's Creek really grows in to its own.

I actually really disliked the first few episodes but stuck it out and was loving it past that.
Great programme.

I really enjoyed the first series, the second not so much. There was one episode about the assistant manager that totally lost me.

Ted Lasso?
Yea the Beard episode was like a filler. Actually just watched it today. Bit pointless.

Yeah sorry, I was the same with Schitts Creek. Hated it after the 1st episode, was told to watch 6 episodes and make up my mind after that which was enough to see how the characters were going to develop. Loved it from then on.

Thanks, we shall try again...
Since there is literally nothing else to watch with 2 gallizion programmes now a year. Oh bbc1, bb2 and itv.... Happy family days. Shame I hated my family 😭

I thought it was absolutely fantastic and quite frankly I’m angry with you that this thread isn’t to announce the third season is out.
