Yeah, I agree with that. S1 is superb but S2 and S3 drop off to the extent we haven't finished S3 yet.

I enjoyed season 2 but was disappointed in season 3. As mentioned Roy and Jamie are the only consistently good thing about season 3.

Yep I thought S2 was up there with S1 but I was disappointed with S3 also. S3 is well worth watching but was not in the same league as the first 2.

I actually rate S3 as much as the other 2. Each of the last 2 series has one odd episode. In series 3 this was the wife to Paris episode, in S2 Coach Beard going awol in the east end of London. The Amsterdam episode in S3 was one of the best episodes of all.

Yes I rated S3 up there with the rest. Also great last episode which tied everything up nicely. We are going to miss it. Made stars of a number of people - Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple for two

Enjoyed all of it, equal amounts funny and serious. Thought the football footage side of it was pretty good compared to other football programs.

Always thought they could of had a better actor to be Roy. Proper forced hard man.

Having watched it more than once, it really stands out how Phil Dunster carries season 3. His character arc is absolutely top notch.
